Valerie by Amy Winehouse

This is one of the best semi-live female vocal recordings I've ever heard.  Thats not hyperbole.  Before she died Amy Winehouse made some outstanding music.  This song is why its so good. its the simpler, darker, more stylish, better sung, ballsier version of whatever artists like Adele and to an extent Florence and the Machine are trying to accomplish today.  I defy you to find a better vocal performance than this one right here.  That said, Enjoy :) and ignore the annoying french at the beginning, just skip in a few seconds.
